Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup organizers suspended the following players for the rest of the first round plus fine of P15,000.00 each: Jercules Tangkay, Reed Juntilla, Monbert Arong, Dawn Ochea, Ferdinand Lusdoc. Meanwhile, Head Coach Francis Aucico will also be suspended for the first round plus fine of P30,000.00 while the other members of the coaching staff were slapped with P20,000.00 fine each.
GAB Chairman Romon Mitra declared that Siquijor Mystics has been banned permanently from the Pilipinas Vismin Super Cup in wake of the Game Fixing scandal during their game against Lapu-Lapu City last April 14, 2021.
Rendell Thomas Senining was banned for the rest of the tournament plus fine of P15,000.00.
Chooks-to-Go president Ronald Mascariñas threatened to pull out sponsorship of the VisMin Cup if sanctions are not meted to erring players who were allegedly involved in game fixing and point shaving.
