Maddie Madayag Profile, Statistics, and Playing History

Maddie Madayag is a professional Volleyball player who currently plays for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), the first and only professional volleyball league in the Philippines. Born in 1998, the 5'11 volleybelle chose to play for the the Ateneo De Manila University where she won two (2) collegiate championships in Seasons 77 and 81 of the University Athletic Associations of the Philippines (UAAP). 

Maddie Madayag made her debut in the UAAP in 2015 but she spent most of her time in the bench. The Ateneo Lady Eagles swept the season en route to a championship that season.

Through her collegiate career, she gradually improved and took a more important role. In her final season in UAAP 81 last 2019, Maddie and fellow graduating students Bea De Leon and Kat Tolentino saved their best game for last as they led the Lady Eagles in a Finals-clinching 3-1 win against the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws last 08 May 2019.

Maddie Madayag plays the Middle Blocker position for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans while also leading the team as the Team Captain. In eliminations, she averaged 7.78 points per match which was good enough to be the 28th best scorer in the PVL Open Conference.

She improved her scoring in the Final Four round as she dropped 8.25 points per outing. Unfortunately, she suffered a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in the first game of their best-of-three bronze medal game against the Petro Gazz Angels.

Without their team captain, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans failed to forced a fifth set as their comeback was foiled after Maddie Madayag went down with the injury with her team up 15-14 in the fourth set. The Flying Titans raised the white flag in the second game as their coach opted to rest the team starters after sixth straight game and fielded the substitutes.

The Petro Gazz Angels easily demolished the second unit of the Flying Titans enroute to a 3-0 rout.
