ASHON ANDREWS

Ashon Andrews is a 6'5 guard who played for Roosevelt High School in Washington D.C. Since he is fresh from high school, he can already play in UAAP Season 85 at the earliest depending on his decision.

Ashon Andrews is athletic and can play the guard position. With his size and athleticism, he can definitely provide an intimidating presence in both ends of the floor. His scoring efficiency is also outstanding as he shot 68% in his senior year.

CHICCO BRIONES JR.

Chicco Briones is a 6'6 guard from Carroll College in Montana. He will definitely provide length for the already tall lineup of the UP Fighting Maroons anchored by 6'11 Malick Diouf, 6'8 Carl Tamayo, and 6'7 Zavier Lucero.

Given his size and his capability to bring the ball down, Chicco Briones Jr. will surely create a matchup headache against their opposing team. He will have four (4) years of eligibility starting UAAP Season 86.

REYLAND TORRES

Reyland Torres is a 6'1 guard formerly from the National University Bulldogs. He recently bolted out of the Bulldogs camp and decided to join his former teammates in Carl Tamayo, Terrence Fortea, and Gerry Abadiano. He will also reunite with his high school coach, Goldwyn Monteverde.

He hails from Bago City, Negros Occidental and is known as a deadly three point shooter. His outside shooting will definitely help space the floor for the bigs and slashers of the Fighting Maroons. After serving a year of residency, Reyland Torres will have three (3) years of eligibility.

JANJAN FELICILDA

Janjan Felicilda also ditched the Bulldogs team and joined Reyland Torres in transferring to UP Diliman. The 5'7 point guard is being groomed as the heir apparent to the point guard role for the Fighting Maroons after Joel Cagulangan will graduate at the end of Season 86.

His ball handling and offensive capability will help in stabilizing the offense for the Fighting Maroons although his size may become a liability in the defensive end. He will also have a total of three (3) years of eligibility after serving his residency.

MARK GIL BELMONTE

Mark Gil Belmonte is a 6'5 standout coming from the basketball program of San Sebastian High School. Just like Chicco, Mark Gil's outstanding ball handling skills despite his size and athleticism will definitely be a problem for smaller guards.

He will have the full five (5) years of eligibility since he is coming straight from high school.
