Head Coach:
Japan Volleyball players may not be as tall as their Chinese or Iranian counterparts but they are skilled. In fact, Japan is in the top flight of Asian Volleyball as they won the second most Asian Volleyball Championships with five (5) trophies as against China's 13. Japan is the latest winner of the Asian Volleyball Championship in 2019, and since the 2021 edition was cancelled, they will be the defending champions in the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship that will be held in Vietnam.
