The players of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball National Team competing in the AVC Cup for Women open on 21 August 2022 at Philsports Arena, Pasig City are setters Vo Khim Thoa, Doan Lam Oanh and outside hitters Tran Than Thuy, Nguyen Uyen, Pham Nguyet Anh, and Vi Nhu Quynh.
The other members of the squad are middle blockers Ly Luyen, Tran Bich Thuy, Nguyen Trinh, and Luu Hue. Completing the squad are Hoang Kieu Trinh, Doan Xuan, Le Thanh Lien and Nguyen Kim Lien.

Vietnam is one of the top tier women volleyball teams in the ASEAN region. The team, however, has yet to take a medal in the biennial AVC Cup for Women which started in 2008. Vietnam hosted the AVC Cup for women in 2016 but even at that time, they failed to reach the podium.
