UAAP Standings 2022: Season 85 Men's Basketball Team Rankings as of November 28

UAAP Season 85 Men's Basketball Standings as of November 27, 2022

The UP Fighting Maroons ended their season with a loss against the Ateneo Blue Eagles last November 26, 2022. Nonetheless, the UP Fighting Maroons remain on top of the standings with an 11-3 record, although not for long as the Ateneo Blue Eagles can claim the first seed on November 30, 2022 if they will defeat the Adamson Soaring Falcons.

The Ateneo Blue Eagles are on 2nd place with a record of 10 wins and 3 losses. Be that as it may, the Blue Eagles can displace the UP Fighting Maroons at number one should they beat the Adamson Soaring Falcons in their upcoming match on November 30, 2022.

The National University Bulldogs secured their final four slot at third place although they ended their season with a heartbreaking 63-64 defeat at the hands of the soaring Adamson Falcons. They will face the defending champions UP Fighting Maroons who holds a twice-to-beat advantage in the semifinals.

The Adamson Soaring Falcons banked on the heroics of Jerom Lastimosa who buried the game winning triple against the NU Bulldogs. With the win, the Adamson Falcons hold the solo spot at 4th place. Nonetheless, they will have a difficult task ahead as they will battle the Ateneo Blue Eagles. A win by the Soaring Falcons and a loss by the DLSU Green Archers will give Adamson the last ticket to the final four.

The DLSU Green Archers made a run in the second round, including a big win against the UP Fighting Maroons, to keep their playoffs contention alive. Their last assignment is the struggling UST Growling Tigers. Should the Green Archers win and the Adamson Falcons drop their last game, both teams will be tied at fourth place and the quotient system will apply.

The UE Red Warriors, FEU Tamaraws and UST Growling Tigers have already been eliminated. The Growling Tigers can still end the season with a bang against the heavily favored DLSU Green Archers. A win can give the team the much needed confidence moving forward..
