The NU Lady Bulldogs are back with the aim of clinching a back-to-back UAAP Women's Volleyball Crown after bagging the Season 84 championship trophy in 2022. Despite the departure of Ivy Lacsina, the Lady Bulldogs remain as favorites to win once again the championship trophy as the core of last year's championship team is intact.
Mhicaela Belen, Princess Robles, Jennifer Nierva, Alyssa Solomon and Sheena Toring will lead the team to its title retention bid. Other members of the squad are rookie Vange Alinsug, Jazlyn Ellarina, Myrtle Escanlar and Shaira Jardio. Camilla Lamina, Cham Maaya. Nicole Mata and Erin Pangilinan complete the team.

The NU Lady Bulldogs will open its title retention campaign against the Ateneo Blue Eagles on February 25, 2023 at 02:00 PM. They will then face the Adamson Lady Falcons on March 01, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
Afterwards, the Lady Bulldogs will battle the UST Growling Tigers on March 04, 2023 at 02:00 PM. It will be followed by a match against the UP Fighting Maroons on March 08, 2023 at 04:00 PM.
The action continues on March 12, 2023 as the Lady Bulldogs will play against the UE Lady Red Warriors at 12:00 PM. Thereafter, a match against the FEU Lady Tamaraws is scheduled on March 18, 2023 at 03:00 PM. Finally, the Lady Bulldogs will end the first round of the eliminations with a game against the DLSU Lady Spikers on March 22, 2023 at 02:00 PM.
