Unconfirmed reports are circulating that Fifi Sharma is foregoing her remaining playing years with the DLSU Lady Spikers to play for the Akari Chargers in the Premiere Volleyball League (PVL). She will join Faith Nisperos who also signed recently with the Chargers.
Fifi Sharma made her debut in the UAAP in Season 82 but it was cancelled after winning her lone game. Season 83 was later cancelled. When UAAP Volleyball resumed in Season 84, the DLSU Lady Spikers succumbed to the NU Lady Bulldogs in the Finals.
Fifi Sharma and the Lady Spikers got their revenge a year later as they swept the NU Lady Bulldogs, 2-0, in the finals. If Season 85 would be her last season in the UAAP, it was definitely a sweet goodbye.
Many fans of the DLSU Lady Spikers were shocked about this news but they were nonetheless grateful to the honor that Fifi Sharma brought to the school God bless on your new endeavor Ms. Sharma.
