The Foton Tornadoes is one of the three newest teams in the Premiere Volleyball League (PVL), together with the Farm Fresh Foxies and Gerflor Defenders. The Tornadoes previously played in the Pilipinas Super Liga (PSL) until it folded. This time, the Tornadoes will join its sister team, the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, in the PVL.
Since the Foton Tornadoes is related with the Chery Tiggo Crossvers, Foton tapped the services of Shaya Adorador and Jasmine Nabor who played for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers. Joining Adorador and Nabor are Seth Rodriguez, May Luna, France Ronquillo, Bingle Landicho and Jaila Atienza.
