Manny Pacquiao formally opened the inaugural season of the Junior Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (Junior MPBL) last July 9, 2023 at the Filoil Ecooil Arena, San Juan City. A total of 22 teams in each of the 14-under, 16-under and 18-under divisions will battle for the pride and honor of being the first ever Junior MPBL champions.
The actions are heating up so far with teams slowly racking up wins. The tournament is divided between the North and South Conferences.
