The Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) is nearing the close of its elimination games and teams are already battling for position in the top eight (8) of the North and South Division. For the week of 24-29 July 2023, a lot of games will have playoff implications.
On 24 July 2023, the Rizal Golden Coolers are looking to crack the top 8 by beating the Marikina Shoemasters. The following day, the Sarangani Marlins will need to upset the Batangas Embassy Chill if they want to stay in playoffs contention.
The MPBL will visit the Visayas for the first time this season as the Negros Muscovados will host the Manila Stars on July 29, 2023 in Bacolod City. Nueva Ecija will play the Makati OkBet Kings on the same day.
