The Pampanga Giant Lantern's unbeaten run is now over after they succumbed against the Batangas Embassy Chill, 95-92, at the Batangas State University Gym in Batangas. Despite the loss, the Giant Lanterns are still the king in the North Division with a 17-1 record.
The Bacoor City Strikers, meanwhile, leads the South Division with their own record of 16-2. The Strikers will meet the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards which holds a similar 16-2 record in Palayan City on July 17, 2023.
