Rookie Reinhard Jumamoy had a breakout game after scoring 21 points to lead the offensive onslaught of the Bulldogs. Jake Figueroa provided the finishing kick at crunch time as he dropped 11 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter, including the dagger triple that gave allowed the Bulldogs to reclaim the lead with less than a minute left. The NU Bulldogs proved that their dominant win against the Blue Eagles during the first round of elimination games was not a fluke. They came out firing on all cylinders as they converted 44.6% of their field goal attempts while limiting the Blue Eagles to a 35% field goal rate.
