The Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad dethroned the National University (NU) Bulldogs Pep Squad in the UAAP Season 86 Cheerdance competition on 02 December 2023 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The FEU Cheering Squad performed a Super Mario-themed routine which earned them a total points of 702.5. Meanwhile, the NU Pep Squad's Elvis Presley-themed routine garnered a total of 697 points from the judges.
The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe completes the podium finishers as their #blackgoldinyourarea theme garnered 684 points. The Adamson Pep Squad, a podium finisher last year, failed to break into the top three.

The championship trophy is back in Morayta after the FEU Cheering Squad brought it home in UAAP Season 84. In season 85, the NU Pep Squad wrest the title from the FEU Cheering Squad.
