The Petro Gazz Angels made headline in the off-season after recruiting notable players. The Angels welcomed back Myla Pablo after she was left without a team when the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers disbanded.
The Petro Gazz Angels also nabbed middle blockers Joy Dacoron and Ethan Arce also from the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers. Adding firepower to the Petro Gazz Angels is opposite spiker Mich Morente who transferred from the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
To accomodate its new recruits, the Petro Gazz Angels released Grethcel Soltones who switched side to the Akari Chargers. The Petro Gazz Angels are upping the tempo for the upcoming conference as they signed Fil-Hawaiian player Brooke Van Sickle from the University of Hawaii. In addition, the Angels also announced that Koji Tsuzurabara will be the team's new head coach.
