The Bataan Risers shrugged off a slow start to escape the Sarangani Marlins, 90-80, at the Orion Sports Complex, Bataan last April 8, 2024. Yves Sazon led the Risers in scoring with his 15 points.
Four other Risers scored in double digits including Jeff Santos (13 points), Jamil Gabawan (11 points), Mitchelle Maynes (11 points) and Alex Ramos (10 points). Meanwhile, Ryan Sual topscored for the Sarangani Marlins which started the game well but lost steam in the crucial 2nd half of the game.
Felix Villarente chipped in 15 points while Mean Galang and Anthony Roque added 9 and 7 points respectively.
