The Mindoro Tamaraws extended the losing woes of the Bicolandia Oragons with a close 84-81 win on April 8, 2024 at the Orion Sports Complex in Orion, Bataan. Teytey Teodoro made two (2) timely triples at crunch time to turn a 74-76 deficit to a 80-76 lead.
Teodoro ended the game with a game-high 19 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Ken Bono also made an impact in his MPBL debut with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Another MPBL debutant, Paul Desiderio contributed 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
RJ Deles led the Bicolandia Oragons with his 16 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists production. Marvin Lee, John Rojas, Chris Javier and John Gallego also scored in double figures with 12, 11, 10 and 10 points respectively.
