The inaugural Mindanao Leg of the VisMin Super Cup is now complete and the Basilan Peace Riders and the Roxas Vanguards are currently battling the Championship trophy. The rest of the teams are already out of the tournament but in spite of their early exit, a lot of the players have exhibited exemplary skills in scoring, passing, blocking, stealing, and 3-point shooting.

In the rebounding department, Lander Cannon of Iligan City Archangels is the leader in as he grabbed an average of 13 rebounds in the five (5) games that he played. Trailing him for second place is Dennis Daa of Alza Zamboanga Del Sur who posted an average of 10.7 rebounds per game while Jayson Ballesteros of Misamis Oriental Brew Authoritea secured third place with his output of 10.0 rebounds per match.

Eliud Poligrates made a splash in the VisMin Super Cup Mindanao leg after he topped the league in terms of average steals per game. In the five games that he played for the Alza Zamboanga Del Sur team, he normed 2.8 steals per match. In Second place is the spitfire guard Carlo Lastimosa who intercepted 2.3 passes per game.
Fran Yu of the NCAA team Letran Knights showed that he can compete in the pro-ranks as he garnered 2.0 steals per game in the six games that he played for the JPS Zamboanga City team.

Jayson Ballesteros made another appearance in the top 5 of a skill department, this time in the list of the top blockers. He is the number one rim protector in the league with his average of 3 blocks per game. Lander Canon who is the top rebounder of the league proved that he is also an elite blocker with his norm of 1.6 swats per match. Lester Reyes occupied the third spot with his average of 1.4 blocks per game.
