The Rizal Golden Coolers is a professional basketball team representing the province of Rizal in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). The team made its debut on the MPBL last 09 June 2018 and it was then known as the Rizal Crusaders.
The Rizal Crusaders had a rough debut in the 2018-2019 (Datu Cup) season as they managed to win only 7 out of 25 games causing them to not qualify for the playoffs. In the next season or the 2019-2020 Lakan Cup, the team rebranded as the Rizal Golden Coolers but they did not again qualify for the playoffs given their 7-22 record.

A lot of MPBL rookies will power the new-look Rizal Golden Coolers in the 2022 MPBL Regular Season. Sweet shooting Jolo Mendoza who recently graduated from the Ateneo Blue Eagles is one of the marquee UAAP Players who are expected to lead the offense of the team. Jolo's teammate and former UAAP Jr's MVP Troy Mallilin will also play a key role in Rizal's campaign.
6'5 Jboy Gob from the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons is another UAAP product who will have the opportunity to show his talent as he was given limited time in his collegiate years. Another tall player in 6'6 Rey Bienes of the Far Eastern University Tamaraws will also provide length and outside shooting for Rizal.
