The UAAP Women's Volleyball has returned after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Although dominated by fresh faces, there is no lack of exciting actions as the teams battle for the honor of hoisting the championship trophy.
The defending champion Ateneo Blue Eagles are looking to repeat as champions. Nonetheless, fellow contenders DLSU Lady Archers as well as the young and talented NU Lady Bulldogs will try to end the reign of the Blue Eagles.

Insofar as digging is concerned, Justine Jazareno of the DLSU Lady Archers emerged as the top digger after posting an average of 5.00 digs per set at the end of the first round of eliminations. At second place is Maxine Juangco of the FEU Lady Tamaraws who averaged 4.26 digs per set. Other players who stood out in terms of digging are Jennifer Nierva of NU with 4.13 digs per set; Bernadette Pepito of UST with 3.25 digs per set; and Jenina Zeta of the UE Lady Tamaraws with 2.96 digs per set.
