2022 PVL Invitational Conference Individual Statistics: Best Scorers, Best Spikers, Best Blockers, Best Servers, Best Diggers, Best Receivers

The Premiere Volleyball League (PVL) recently announced the top individual performers in the 2022 PVL invitational Conference after three (3) game days. From its opening last July 09, 2022,  three game days have already been held and that each team will play a total of six (6) games during the entire elimination round.

While some teams have played a total of three (3) games such as the Cignal HD Spikers, some teams have only played two (2) games. Nonetheless, it is never early to showcase the best scorers, best spikers, best blockers, and best servers.

Tots Carlos of the Creamline Cool Smashers emerged as the top scorer of the 2022 PVL Invitational Conference after the end of the preliminary round. She dropped a total of 114 points, 103 of which is from spikes, 6 from blocks, and 5 from service aces.

Kat Tolentino finished the preliminary round as the 2nd best scorer. She contributed a total of 91 points, 77 of which resulted from spikes, 9 from blocks, and 5 from service. Her contribution, however, went to naught as Choco Mucho was eliminated.

Completing the top five (5) are Aiza Pontillas of the Petro Gazz Angels, Jema Galanza of Creamline Cool Smashers, and Jovelyn Gonzaga of the Army Lady Troopers with total points of 87, 86 and 85 respectively.

Two players from the Creamline Cool Smashers lead the pack in the spiking department. Tots Carlos is the queen of spiking at the end of the preliminaries as she posted a success rate of 38.15% in her spiking. Her teammate Jema Galanza settled at second place with her own efficiency rating of 36.28%. 

Kat Tolentino proved that she is one of the best spikers as she recorded a success rate of 34.22%. Aiza Pontillas of Petro Gazz Angels and Jovelyn Gonzaga of Army Lady Troopers placed 4th and 5th with their success rate of 33.60% and 30.86% respectively.

Mika Reyes of PLDT High Speed Hitters made herself stand out in the Best Blocker category of the PVL after she averaged 0.88 blocks per set after the preliminary rounds. She is followed by Riri Meneses of Cignal HD who was able to block 0.67 attempts per set.

Mar Jana Phillips, Dell Palomata and Gel Cayuna round up the top 5 as they average a 0.57, 0.50, and 0.46 respectively. Mylene Paat, Ces Molina and Rachel Anne Daquis are likewise among the best blockers in the PVL 2022 Invitational Conference. Each of them recorded similar averages of 0.42 blocks per set.

Gel Cayuna of the Cignal HD Spikers leads the league as the best server with an average of 0.46 ace per set. She is followed by Ivy Perez of the Army Lady Troopers and Alina Bicar of Chery Tiggo Crossovers who registered an average of 0.36 and 0.32 aces per set.

Shaya Adorador of Chery Tiggo and Remy Joy Palma of Petro Gazz Angels also punched their marks in the top servers as they ranked 4th and 5th respectively with averages of 0.32 and 0.30 aces per set.

Dennise Lazaro is the best digger of the 2022 PVL Invitational Conference. She averaged 5.43 digs per set. She is closely followed by Shiela Pineda of the Petro Gazz Angels who produced an average of 5.35 digs per set.

Two (2) Army Lady Troopers made it to the top 5 of the list of best diggers. Jovelyn Gonzaga ranked again in another skill department as she delivered 5.00 digs per set. Her teammate Angela Nunag is not far behind with her own production of 4.00 digs per set.

Julia De Guzman of Creamline Cool Smashers is presently the Best Setter in the 2022 PVL Invitational Conference. She registered an average of 6.62 per set. Relea Ferina Saet is the second best setter with her own output of 5.30 sets per set.

Ivy Perez of the Army Lady Troopers took the 3rd place best setter after giving 5.27 toss per set. She is followed by Rhea Dimaculangan of the PLDT High Speed Hitters who provided an average of 5.00 sets per set to hear teammates.

Dennise Lazaro, aside from being the best digger, is also the best receiver of the 2022 PVL Invitational Conference. She successfully received 50.69% of the opponents' attempts. Kyla Atienz of the Creamline Cool Smashers distinguished herself as the second best receiver of the league with an average of 43.87% efficiency.

Jovelyn Gonzaga, Fiola Mae Ceballos, and Shiela Marie Pineda completes the top five (5) with their own averages of 43.41%, 40.83% and 39.23% success rate.
