Seven (7) local teams confirmed their participation in the 2022 PVL Invitational Conference, with additional two (2) foreign teams joining as guest teams during the playoffs. The top four (4) teams after the elimination round will then advance to the playoffs together with the foreign teams.
The defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers will try to defend their crown against Choco Mucho Flying Titans, Cignal HD Spikers, PLDT High Speed Hitters, Army Lady Troopers, Chery Tiggo Crossovers, and Petro Gazz Angels.
