The De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers almost reached the championship round of the UAAP Season 84 but they wasted a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter of their do-or-die match against the UP Fighting Maroons who eventually won the title. After winning the UAAP basketball championship trophy in 2016, the DLSU Green Archers are raring to end their championship drought this coming Season 85 which is slated to open on October 2022.
With the departure of stretch big Justine Baltazar, the DLSU Green Archers will have to rely on incoming sophomore Michael Phillips, veterans Joaquin Manuel, Mark Nonoy and Evan Nelle. Blue chip rookies Kevin Quiambao and Isaiah Blanco will finally suit up for the white and green.
