The Jose Rizal University (JRU) Heavy Bombers are participating in the 2022 Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup in preparation for the upcoming Season 98 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) which is tentatively set on September 2022. After finishing at the bottom of the team standings with a 1-8 record in the NCAA Season 97, the JRU Heavy Bombers are looking to use the preseason tournaments to get better.
The JRU Heavy Bombers are bracketed in Group B together with NCAA Season 97 champions Letran Knights and UAAP heavyweight DLSU Green Archers. Can the JRU Heavy Bombers shine in the Filoil Preseason Cup?
