In his debut for 2022 UAAP Season 85 on 01 October 2022, Carl Tamayo scored 18 points while grabbing 19 rebounds, dishing 2 assists and stealing 2 possessions in a wing against the DLSU Green Archers. He followed it up with 11 points, 5 rebound, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks versus the Adamson Soaring Falcons on 05 October 2022.
