Four teams will battle on November 05, 2022 at the Batangas City Coliseum the last two (2) remaining slots in the Southern Division Semifinals. The first game at 05:30 PM will feature the game do-or-die game between Bacolod Bingo Plus and General Santos Warriors.
After tying the best-of-three series in game 2, the 4th seeded General Santos Warriors look to close the match and avoid an upset by the pesky Bacolod Bingo Plus Squad. Meanwhile, the Bacoor City Strikers will attempt to pull off an upset right in front of the home crowd of the Batangas City Embassy Chill team.
The Bacoor City Strikers escaped the Batangas City Embassy Chill in a tight game 2, 78-75, at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City. With their back against the wall, the momentum has shifted to the 7th seeded Bacoor City Strikers who are aiming to upset the 2nd seeded Batangas City Embassy Chill team.
On their part, Batangas City looks to avoid suffering the same fate that the 2nd seeded Makati Supercrunch team suffered against the then 7th seeded Quezon City Capitals in the first round of the Datu Cup Northern Division playoffs. To recall, the core of that Makati Supercrunch squad, including Cedrick Ablaza, Jeckster Apinan and Coach Cholo Villanueva, is also the core of the current Batangas City Squad.
The winner of the Bacolod and General Santos matchup will face 1st seeded Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines. Meanwhile, the winner of the Batangas City vs Bacoor City strikers series will battle the Rizal Golden Coolers in the next round.
All of the games later (05:30 PM and 09:00 PM) will be televised live at One PH.
