MPBL Playoffs 2022 Results of November 7, 2022 Games

These are the results and box scores of the MPBL Playoff games last November 07, 2022. In the first game, the San Juan Knights dumped the Pasig City MCW Sports, 88-68. The Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards then trashed the Pampanga Giant Lanters, 104-89 in the second game.

Hesed Gabo led a balanced attack by the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards to ensure a win in their homecourt against their neighbor Pampanga Giant Lanterns. Gabo was the best player of the game after he scored 10 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, dished 13 assists and stole 2 possessions.


Byron Villarias, Michael Mabulac, William Mcaloney and Michael Juico also scored in double figures for the Rice Vanguards. Villarias added 20 points while Mabulac poured 16 points of his own. Mcaloney was a force in the post as he dropped 15 points. Meanwhile, Michael Juico remains a threat in the offensive end as he contributed 10 points.

The San Juan Knights outclassed the Pasig City MCW Sports, 88-68. Dexter Maiquez was the best player of the game with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals. With the win, the Knights are one win away from the North Division Finals.

Aside from Maiquez, Orlan Wamar added 11 points to help the San Juan Knights in their title redemption bid. Judel Fuentes also scored in double figures with 10 points of his own. The other guard, Marwin Taywan, likewise provided productive minutes with 10 points.
