The Pampanga Giant Lanterns are making a case as a potential adversary for the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards. These teams are both unbeaten and they may face each other in the North Division Finals. Unfortunately, only one of them will advance to the MPBL National Finals.
The race to the top of South Division is tighter with Bacoor City Strikers emerging as an early favorite. Nonetheless, Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines, Batangas Embassy Chill and the General Santos Warriors are not far behind as they also aim to reach the national finals.
