Aside from scoring, Gerald Anderson also contributed 3 assists and 2 rebounds. Unfortunately, the Shoemasters succumbed to the young Pasig City Squad led by rookie Kenny Rocacurva who scored a game-high 18 points.
Felipe Chavez led the Marikina Shoemasters with his 16 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks but he was sadly at the receiving end of Coach Elvis Tolentino's ire. As seen in a viral video, Coach Elvis Tolentino hit the stomach of Chavez then grabbed his jersey during a timeout.
Robbie Manalang and Michael Maestre contributed 12 points apiece to help Pasig Clinch the win.
