Even as a rookie, Felipe Chavez proved that he can be relied upon to lead the Shoemasters' offense. His best offensive outing was against the Makati Okbet Kings when he scored 22 points on top of 10 rebounds and 2 assists. He scored at least 20 points in another game against the Pasay Voyagers on March 28, 2023.
Out of the 17 games he played so far, he scored more than 10 points on 10 occasions. Perhaps his lowest output was his scoreless game against the Batangas Embassy Chill where he played for less than three minutes on May 01, 2023.
Given his scoring ability, Felipe Chavez could definitely make a name for himself in the coming seasons of the MPBL. For sure, he will be one of the most sought-after players once his contract with the Marikina Shoemasters will expire.
