Paolo Javelona and the Negros Muscovados parted ways. Javelona is not in the lineup of the Negros Muscovados in their game against the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards on June 23, 2023 at the Baliwag Star Arena.
Paolo Javelona played 14 games for the Muscovados during the season, and he started in 10 games. During that 14-game stretch, Paolo Javelona averaged 9.1 points per game at 33.1% efficiency.
He also burned the floor for 25 minute per outing wherein he grabbed 3.1 rebounds and dished out 3.6 assists per match. He played a key role in the Negros Muscovados' defense as he posted 1.3 steals per match.
In his absence, Jun Manzo will fill the void in the point guard position. For sure, Jun Manzo who was used playing in a big crowd for UP in the UAAP can step up.
