The Caloocan Batang Kankaloo made quick work of the Quezon City Today Aksyon, 81-49, in a lopsided match at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center on August 10, 2023.
Paul Sanga paced the Batang Kankaloo with his 14-point production coupled with three (3) rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal in 17 minutes of playing time. He was aided by Jeramer Cabanag who dropped 12 points of his own in an efficient 50% shooting.
Joining the scoring barrage against Quezon City are bigmen Reil Cervantes and Gabby Espinas who contributed 10 and 9 points respectively. On the other hand, Quezon City had an awful night after they only made 25% of their field goal attempts.
Andre Flores led Quezon City with 16 points at 66% shooting but his efforts turned to naught as Caloocan was too much for Quezon City to stop. With the loss, Quezon City is now at 3-22 while Caloocan improved to 17-7.
