The Philippines will send a young women's volleyball team in the upcoming Vietnam leg of the Southeast Asia Volleyball League which will be held in Vinh Phuc, Vietnam on 4-6 August and in Chiang Mai, Thailand on 11-13 August 2023. The team is mostly composed of volleybelles from the National University Lady Bulldogs.
Michaela Belen and Evangeline Alinsug will lead the young squad. Joining them are their teammates in NU composed of Camille Lamina., Shaira Jardio, Minierva Maaya, Evangeline Alinsug, Erin Pangilinan, Myrtle Escanlar and incoming rookies Arah Panique and Abegail Pono.
Other outstanding players from other universities will reinforce the players from NU. Roma Doromal and AC Miner are the representatives from the Ateneo De Manila University Blue Eagles while the University of the Philippines will send NiƱa Ytang and Kamille Cal.
