It seems Manny Pacquiao is busy hosting high-profile visitors while the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) is on break. First to visit his home is Mr. Gianmarco Pozzecco, the head coach of Italy's national basketball team, who is a die-hard fan of Pacman.
To recall, Coach Pozzecco expressed his wish to meet his idol Pacman during a press conference. Although Pacman was not able to watch Italy dismantle Gilas, his wish was eventually granted.
After a meet and greet with Coach Pozzecco, Manny Pacquiao welcomed NBA superstar and champion Klay Thompson, together with his teammate Kevon Looney. Klay Thompson is currently in the country to launch his new shoe with Anta.
Manny Pacquiao is also an endorser of Anta. To recall, Anta was the title sponsor of MPBL's inaugural season called the Anta Rajah Cup. Currently, Anta is the official outfitter of the MPBL for the 2023 season.
It would be good to see Klay Thompson doing a basketball clinic with MPBL players. That would be awesome for sure.
