The San Beda Red Lions is the winningest basketball team in the Philippine NCAA with 22 championship trophies so far. However, the last crown they won was in 2018 when they were dethroned by the Letran Knights who is the reigning 3-peat champions.
Many attribute their fall from grace to the removal of foreign student athletes or imports since the Red Lions were dominant when they started to enlist foreign student athletes. Nonetheless, the Red Lions are out to prove that they can also win the trophy even with an all-Filipino lineup.
Leading the team are Clifford Jopia, Jacob Cortez, Peter Alfaro, Yukien Andrada, Alex Visser and James Payosing. Other members include Emman Tagle, Aljay Alloso, Nygel Gonzales, AJ Royo, John Lopez, and Joshua Tagala, among others. You can also check out the lineup of other teams here.

Head Coach: Roel Aurelio Escueta
Head Coach Roel Aurelio Escueta will be the man on the sidelines guiding the Red Lions. This will be his second season as head coach for San Beda and he aims to finally claim a trophy for his team.
Wiston Ynot and Justine Sanchez will no longer play for San Beda as he transferred to the Benilde Blazers where he is currently serving his one (1) year residency. The duo also played several games in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) for Iloilo United Royals before making a commitment to the Blazers.
