The DLSU Green Archers underachieved last UAAP Season 85 as they failed to reach the final four (4) despite being one of the heavy favorites to win the title given their roster and their outstanding pre-season exploits. The Green Archers faithful were so disappointed that they replaced Derick Pumaren with Coach Topex Robinson.
Coach Topex will inherit several standouts from last year including Kevin Quiambao, Michael Philips and CJ Austria. He also brought Matthew Rubico, one of NBTC top 24 high school players in 2022.
Evan Nelle and Mark Nonoy will return for one last ride in the UAAP. They will reunite with Bright Nwankwo, Ben Philips, Raven Cortez, and Joaquin Manuel who will also return for another season.
