The Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws is tied with the UST Growling Tigresses for the most championship trophies in the UAAP women's basketball tournament with eleven (11) crowns each so far. The last time they experienced winning the crown was a back-to-back championship in the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Las season, the Lady Tamaraws won only two (2) games out of fourteen (14) matches which was good enough for seventh (7th) place in the elimination round. Thanks to a winless record by the UE Lady Warriors, the Lady Tamaraws avoided ending the season at the bottom.
The Lady Tamaraws this UAAP Season 86 is composed of Jean Pauline Amargo, Mikee Antonio, Queenie Antonio, Nicole Anne Cabahug, Honeylyn Caringal, Maxene Dela Torre, Jaina Del Prado and Jamerin Delos Santos and Josee Kaputu. You can also check out the lineup of other teams here.
