The UP Fighting Maroons Women's Basketball team is aiming for the championship trophy this UAAP Season 86. They will parade their prized recruit Louna Ozar who is also part of the Gilas Pilipinas Women's Basketball squad which participated in the recently concluded Asian Games in China.
While the women's team of the UP Fighting Maroons basketball program did not have much success in recent years compared to the men's squad, the Fighting Maroons basketbelles are raring to break the trend of heartbreaking seasons.
The Fighting Maroons will also parade Favour Onoh as its foreign student athlete to complement Louna Ozar. Other members of the squad are Mariah Justine Doming, Christie Bariquit, Shiela Godez, Erika May Jimenez, Rizza Mae Lozada, Achrissa Maw, Kaye Pesquerra and Rhea Anne Sanchez.
