The Pampanga Giant Lanterns proved steadier at crunch time as they clamped Caloocan Batang Kankaloo en route to a comfortable 93-77 win last November 3, 2023 at the Nueva Ecija Coliseum in Palayan City.
Encho Serrano topscored for the Giant Lanterns with 22 points while Justine Baltazar added 16 points. John Lloyd Clemente, MJ Garcia and Archie Concepcion are the other Lanterns players who scored in double digits with 14, 14 and 13 markers respectively.

The Caloocan Batang Kangkaloo were able to stay toe-to-toe against Justine Baltazar and the Pampanga Giant Lanterns. Although they were outrebounded 53-38, the Batang Kankaloo made up the difference on the defensive end as they forced Pampanga to commit 14 turnovers while limiting their own to just 9.
