The MPBL Playoffs continue tomorrow on November 3, 2023 at the Nueva Ecija Coliseum in Palayan City where the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards will host the visiting San Juan Knights. The Rice Vanguards will fight for survival as their championship hopes are on the brink of extinction.
On the other hand, the San Juan Knights are raring to avenge their playoffs loss against the Rice Vanguards during the North Division Finals last season. With a 1-0 advantage in their series, the Knights are determined to avert another meltdown as they aim to finish the Rice Vanguards in the latter's homecourt. Meanwhile, the Pampanga Giant Lanterns are poised to advance into the North Division finals after a dominant 74-63 win against the Caloocan Batang Kankaloo during their first game. Justine Baltazar and the rest of the Lanterns proved too much against the Caloocan Squad.
Be that as it may, the Batang Kangkaloo are ready to fight for an extension of their series. They will have to rely anew with their veterans, especially Gabby Espinas, Joco Tayongtong and Paul Sanga.
Should the Rice Vanguards and the Batang Kangkaloo team snatch a victory in game 2, the series will shift to Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center for the third (3rd) and final game. In the same vein, the South Division series will return to the Bacoor City Strikers gym should Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines and the General Santos Warriors win.
