The Akari Chargers failed anew to reach the semi-finals round in the recently concluded PVL 2023 2nd All-Filipino Conference where they ended up at 7th place with a losing 5-6 record. Nonetheless, the team had planted the seeds for its future by bringing in young talents in Fifi Sharma and Faith Nisperos.
As the Chargers focus their energy and resources for the upcoming 2024 PVL 1st All-Filipino Conference, the team made significant move in the off-season to bolster its roster.
The Akari Chargers signed up Grethcel Soltones from the Petro Gazz Angels. Meanwhile, in what could possibly one of the biggest signings during the off-season, the Chargers made a recruitment coup by tapping the services of Celine Domingo who won championship trophies with the Creamline Cool Smashers.
