The PLDT High Speed Hitters failed to reach the final round last conference after ending up at 5th place with a 7-4 record. This coming conference, the High Speed Hitters are optimistic of reaching the final four as they were able to nab blue chip recruits in the off season.
Mika Reyes will reunite with her fellow DLSU Lady Spikers almni Kim Kiana Dy, Majoy Baron and Kim Fajardo who were all released after the disbandment of F2 Logistics Cargo Movers. However, their reunion may have to wait a bit as Mika Reyes is still recovering from an injury.
Mich Morente is gone from the team after transferring to the Petro Gazz Angels. Other transferees include Mean Mendrez who jumped ship to the Choco Mucho squad.
