The Bataan Risers failed to enter the playoffs last 2023 season after ending the elimination round at 9th place with a 13-15 record. The Risers, nonetheless, are looking forward to another crack at the MPBL National Championship trophy this 2024 season.
The Risers retained most of its players from last season. Back for another tour of duty are Ron Lastimosa, Jethro Sombrero, Reginald Bilugan, Robbi Darang, Dante Paguio Jr, James Darwin Castro, Arvie Bringas, Kris Torrado, Jasper Longalong, Yves Sazon, and Jamil Gabawan.
To reinforce the squad, the Risers recruited Rhaffy Octobre from the Batangas City Embassy Chill. The team also enlisted Mitchel Maynes from the Pampanga Giant Lanterns and Jayson Grimaldo from the Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines. The team also added Joshua Abastillas.
