The Batangas City Embassy Chill is aiming to be the first team to win two (2) national championship trophies, a feat which has been elusive so far. To achieve such goal, team Batangas will have to dethrone the defending champion Pampanga Giant Lanterns which has retooled this upcoming season.
Unlike the defending champion Pampanga Giant Lanterns, Batangas kept its core intact and just added a few pieces. RJ Ramirez joins the team, together with Abdul Sawat.
Batangas, however, will miss the services of Rudy Lingganay who has decided to transfer. Also gone from the team are John Rey Villanueva and Rhaffy Octobre who is now playing for the Bataan Risers.
