The Classic is now taking a different approach as it signed notable veteran players to boost its lineup. Cyrus Baguio will return to Valenzuela, as well as Orin Catacutan and Chris De Chavez who all previously played for Valenzuela. To secure the boards, the team recruited 6'9 Ladis Lepalam, 6'5 Dennis Santos and 6'5 Alfonso Gotladera.
The team also strengthened its offense with the addition of a scorer in Val Chauca who can complement Darell Manliguez in the backcourt. Other players for the team are Richard Popovic, Andrey Armenion, CJ Payawal, Angelo Macion, Carlo Velasco, Mike Delos Santos, Jeric Diego, Brian Boliver and Jameson Hiro. Head Coach: Aldrin Morante
Aldrin Morante will return as the head coach of the Valenzuela Classic. He is tasked to lead the team to the playoffs, and perhaps all the way to the National Finals. However, it will be a difficult journey as so many teams have upgraded their respective rosters.
