The Bacolod City of Smile upgraded its roster for the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) 2024 season which will open on April 6, 2024 at the Calasiao Sports Complex, Pangasinan. Aiming to make a run deep into the playoffs, Bacolod signed Alex Cabagnot as its head coach, and even as a player.
Playing coach Alex Cabagnot will steer a roster composed of young and veteran players. Former PBA players Louie Vigil and Rashawn McCarthy will backstop Alex Cabagnot in the team's 2024 campaign.
Several players from the PBA 3x3 circuit will also join the Bacolod CIty of Smile squad. These are Nichole Ubalde, JJ Espanola, Ralph Salcedo, Tricky Peromingan and Maclean Sabellina.
