Here are the latest team standings of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) as of April 21, 2024. Two weeks have already passed since the opening of the season last April 6, 2024 so let us check the movements in the team standings.
In the North Division, Rizal Golden Coolers are now the leaders with a clean 3-0 slate. San Juan Knights and the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards finally played their opening games with both team notching their first wins. The Tarlac United Force will no longer participate after they were expelled by the MPBL due to non-payment of fees.
On the other side, four (4) teams in the South Division remain undefeated. Zamboanga Master Sardines, Batangas Tanduay Rum Masters, Negros Muscovados and Paranaque Patriots occupy the top 4 spots with identical records of 3-0. Binan Tatak Gel is the only team in the MPBL who will have to play a game yet.
The Davao Occidental Tigers suffered a defeat on their return to the MPBL at the hands of the Pasay Voyagers.
