The Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards is a basketball team currently participating in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). The team was founded in 2019 as the Nueva Ecija Miguards which participated in the Lakan Cup of the MPBL.
In the middle of the Lakan Cup, the team rebranded twice to Nueva Ecija Forest Lake and finally to the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards. It finished with a 10-20 record in its maiden season in the MPBL.
The Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards are looking to win their first championship in the MPBL Invitational tournament as they reloaded with marquee players such as March Pingris (who later announced that he will not play), PJ Simon, Chris Bitoon, Renz Palma, and Diego Dario among others.NUEVA ECIJA RICE VANGUARDS LINEUP
