The 2022 AVC Cup For Women Volleyball Tournament is scheduled on 21 to 29 August 2022. The games will be held at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City, Philippines.
Ten (10) teams are set to compete including defending champions China who last won the trophy in 2018. The 2020 edition which was supposed to be hosted by Chinese Taipei was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Update 08/17/2022: Kazakhstan withdrew from the competition. Nine (9) teams remain in the tournament.

The AVC Cup for Women will supposedly open on August 21, 2022 with Chinese Taipei and Kazakhstan colliding in the very first match at 10:00 AM. However, Kazakhstan withdrew out of the competition. They will be followed by China and South Korea at 01:00 PM, Japan and Thailand at 04:00 PM, and the host Philippines versus Vietnam at 07:00 PM.
On August 22, 2022, the actions will continue as Chinese Taipei and Japan will battle at 10:00 AM. China and Vietnam will also contend for a win at 01:00 PM. Thereafter, Australia will make its debut against Thailand at 04:00 PM. Finally, Iran and South Korea will end the hostilities for the day at 07:00 PM.
On August 23, 2022, more action will follow as Australia and Chinese Taipei look to secure wins in their 10:00 AM match. Iran and Vietnam will then test each other at 04:00 PM. In the last game for the day, the Philippines looks to upset China in the 07:00 PM match.
On August 24, 2022, South Korea and Vietnam will battle at 01:00 PM. The last two matches will feature Thailand versus Chinese Taipei at 04:00 PM then the Philippines vs Iran game will be the main serving at 07:00 PM.
On August 25, 2022, Japan and Australia are the first two teams to compete at 01:00 PM. The China and Iran match will then follow at 04:00 PM. The Philippines versus South Korea will end the last day of eliminations at 07:00 PM.
