This is the latest team standings in the 2022 AVC Cup for women which will be held on 21-29 August 2022 at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City, Philippines. A total of ten (10) teams are participating in the tournament including the host Philippines which is grouped under Pool A.
South Korea, China, Vietnam and Iran are also included together with the Philippines in Pool A. Meanwhile, Japan, Thailand, Kazakhstan, New Zealand and Chinese Taipei are bracketed in Pool B.

The AVC Cup for Women is a biennial international volleyball competition organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). It was founded in 2008 when Thailand hosted the inaugural edition which was won by China.
Since then, the event was held every two (2) years with the last one held in 2018 because the 2020 season was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. China won again the last championship trophy in 2018 which is their 7th championship out of the last 8 tournaments. Can China defend their crown this year here in the Philippines?
